When I started this blog, I never intended it to be something strangers read. Instead, I wanted a creative way to be able to document where my life was taking me at the time. Something that I could share with my immediate friends and family who were along for the ride.
Never in a million years did I think that more than ten people would read it. Or that it would be featured, shared, and referenced often. Or that it would continue to get traction years after I started it, even after taking a 2-year break.
I just did it for me – a digital journal if you will.
And if you’ve ever journaled before, you probably know that sometimes it’s easy. The words just flow out, and you can put pen to paper with no problem. And other times, your pen and paper sit idle for days, months, even years — not implying you have nothing to say, but identifying the divide between what you want to say and what you can say.
Can you guess where I’ve been for the past two years?
I don’t exactly know why I didn’t have the desire or the pull to sit down and share some of the past two years with you, but I didn’t.
Maybe it was lingering pandemic effects; perhaps it was because since then I’ve started a business, traveled, and rested, among other things.
Or maybe it was just a much-needed break. I’m a fan of those.
Butttttttt all of that said, I’m back!
I have so much to share about where I’ve been over the past two years (😳)! And not just that, I’m EXCITED to share it. And that’s a win-win.
So, buckle up; more is coming your way!
