Grab a drink (and maybe a snack) and I’ll tell you (or try to tell you) who the heck I am.

Well, I’m Katelyn and to put it simply, I just crave adventure in every facet of life. Somehow you stumbled upon my documentation of what that looks like! What started as a small project has turned into all this and I couldn’t be happier!

If you know me or you’ve been here before, you know I can talk a lot (and get distracted a lot), but I promise it *almost* always circles back around…I’ll do my best this time to do so, just for you! 

Well, in a disorganized nutshell, here is me in the form of a few random facts:

I wouldn’t be able to do anything in life without Jesus, one day I’ll share my testimony with you, but until then, just know, all of this is because of Him. 

I am an Enneagram 7w8, which has been deemed the opportunist (apparently I resemble that of a Golden Retriever if that is any sort of context; UPDATE: ironic now that I have one, Finn). 

I’ve been to 28 countries (would have been 30 by now, but you know, rona season) and 20 states. My favorite places thus far have been the Amalfi Coast, Alps in Austria, Cape Town, and Ha Long Bay. 

I’m not incredibly risk averse, more of what I call a calculated risk taker… which is why it shouldn’t be a surprise that I’ve been skydiving, bungee jumping, and cage diving!

My family grew up training service dogs for over 10 years, but now I have my own little guy to train. He is an English Golden Retriever named Finn!

I move at about a million miles per second pretty much all the time. Thoughts, speech, from place to place, all of it. One of my personality traits is “thrives in chaos” which I find ironic because I’m very clean/organized.

I would prefer to be around or in front of people, but I’ve learned how to be alone and have come to enjoy it. Even if you just sit on a couch and not talk to me, I’d be happy!

I’m a big picture kind of person. If you want to do the impossible, I’ll help you figure out how to do it no ifs, ands, or buts. 

I cannot stand routine, I’ll do anything I can to avoid it! (I mean I don’t even do the same order in the shower everyday kind of avoid it)

I’m fluent in “F.R.I.E.N.D.S.”

I prefer my windows down in my car (even in the winter) and hate taking highways or freeways because the wind drowns out my music!

If I had to pick my ideal Saturday, I’d be out on the lake or hiking and finish the day with good food and good company. 

My favorite movies (as if I could only pick one, that’s too hard) are Remember the Titans, the Blind Side, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
