I just had to make another one, I have to much to tell you and show you!!! Gosh I feel like when I was in
Day 5: Jaipur
AND NOW, for the AMBER FORT!!! I thought this place was just incredible, just look at it!!! It was SO beautiful and everything was so intricately made…
Well and you know, we had a blast too, naturally. You should meet this group, they rock.
Don’t worry we chose not to ride the elephants up… just don’t want to practice the use of animals for tourism that is potentially harmful to the animals (even though they ASSURED us it wasn’t).
Like I said, we had a blast here…
Look at this stud, Lucky, our guide…. He’s our age and he genuinely made India 100x better because he felt like a friend bringing us around his home town!!! We LOVE LUCKY!!!
After the Amber fort, we got a fix in with a few animals… Corey got to know a Cobra and later a Chow Chow…. although the Cobra was much more forgiving than the Chow Chow. The pup decided Corey’s hand and leg would be a great snack….
See Josey on the other hand, got attacked by a monkey… boy if you could hear her explain it!!!!
But look at him!!!
Day 6: Cochin
We spent our last day on a long haul back to the ship… traveling in India is unlike any other… at least we can get out our inner child somehow:
THANKS for reading about India 🙂
Catch you in Mauritius!!!!

Hello, Love your blog! I was wondering if you traveled India with SAS, did you hire a guide, or did you just find one along the way? I’ve heard that India can be really hard to travel for someone whose never been, did you feel it was extremely challenging and I should just book a field class with SAS or it’s something challenging but you can do it alone/ with a group?

Hey Kaleya! It definitely is possible to travel without one in India. The first two days we didn’t have one and managed alright, but the cities we were in (the port city of Cochin and Varanasi) weren’t as big as New Dehli or Agra where we traveled to! So for that reason and peace of mind, I loved having a guide–he just was able to take the stress of figuring it out away and we were just able to enjoy it! If you go to this blog post, there is a PDF of all of the travel agencies I used for all the countries including the one we used in India!
